My visit to Hentai Stream

With a name like Hentai Stream, I don't think you need to be a genius to work out exactly what this project is all about. For the longest time, I've tried to curate a list of the best anime porn destinations around, but there are always new spots for us to go in order to try and access the adult material we desire. Will Hentai Stream be a good spot that's worth the visit, or will I recommend you go elsewhere instead? Continue on for my full review and analysis: you'll find out soon enough!

My first thoughts on HentaiStream

The first thing that came across my mind when visiting this site's homepage was the general dated design in terms of its layout. It doesn't appear to be that old, but I just feel like the lines, interface and whatever else were probably constructed here around 5 years back and they simply haven't kept up with the modern aesthetic. Don't get me wrong: Hentai Stream is obviously quite functional and you won't have issues getting around their database of porn, but that doesn't mean it's completely faultless and you'll get by here with no problems whatsoever. Ideally, I'd like to see them go for a redesign sometime this year and just keep things looking fresh and trendy. Sounds pretty reasonable, right? Well, if not, you can always go and read the anime porn reviews of someone else … they won't be as good as mine, though!

The homepage structure of Hentai Stream

HentaiStream does do a good job by showing you the latest episodes that they have available right in the main content area, although I'd be lying if I said that I felt this particular section was high enough. It just feels like they left too much space toward the top part of the site that could be better utilized with preview panes. Speaking of which, the panes themselves consist of a thumbnail from the episode in question, a title, view count, add date and finally, two sections that dictate if the video in question is subtitled or censored. I quite like this approach and I think that it's something a lot of other destinations could start doing. Call me crazy, but I don't think giving your visitors access to the information they need is all that complicated. Fetish Dude manages it just fine, right? So does Hentai Stream, so why on Earth would other places struggle when it comes to doing this type of thing!

Exploring the rest of HentaiStream

To date, there are 1,000+ series here and just over 3,000 videos that you can watch. I know that this equals out to being just 3 episodes, on average, per series, but since most of them in the hentai realm don't last long, this is hardly all that surprising. I do recommend that you check out the 'hentai series list' segment which you can access through the header navigation pane: this ought to help you access the exact type of adult material you're after. The default listing option here is alphabetical, but you can switch this to '2020 archive' if you're only interested in looking at series that have been added to the project recently. My guess is that in 2021, they'll switch over to that approach instead – just a hunch!

Some of the series that you'll find here include the likes of Ore no Yubi de Midarero., Enjo Kouhai, Kiss Hug, Shikijou Kyoudan and a number of other publications that I don't want to type out because they're difficult to spell and/or excessively lengthy. I checked for the major players in the space and you'll be pleased to know that basically all of the biggest hentai series that are popular right now have a spot on Hentai Stream. Now since this is a place devoted to videos, I think it makes the most amount of sense to look at scenes next, so let's do that, shall we?

Watching content at HentaiStream

When you get around to picking out an episode of some hentai that you want to watch, HentaiStream will load up a source for you directly from the site embed feature. I tried out a dozen or so releases and all but one were offered in 720p or 1080p formats. There is a download button below the embed which will take you through to a link on a third-party host, but what I find quite weird is that you don't need to use this at all. See, after you start loading up a scene, simply right-click on it and then select 'save video as' if you want to store the video on your PC. I was really impressed with the download speed and yeah – it's really that simple. No limits, no bullshit: just the hentai you want stocked right on your PC!

My suggested improvements to HentaiStream

Hentai Stream has a number of changes that they could make, so let's talk about a few of them. As mentioned before – the design could be a lot fresher here. Additionally, they don't have the ability for you to sort content based on ratings, views or anything else, which makes it quite hard to work out what's really popular and what's just average, low-tier hentai. They do have a subreddit and Discord channel, although the channels on the Discord are less than perfect. I will give them the benefit of the doubt though: they did only set it up quite recently and seems to be a work in motion.

My final word on HentaiStream

So I did spend around an hour exploring content on Hentai Stream and yes: this was a very enjoyable place for me to watch videos of anime porn. The biggest drawcard is the average quality of the productions and the fact that they are totally free for you to take a look at. Not many spots can compete with this, so I think it makes sense that HentaiStream is getting the top-tier recommendation that I'm bestowing upon it.
