Fetish Dude: a review of Let's Jerk

LetsJerk is a free porn tube that claims to have free, full length porn videos in HD that you can enjoy straight from your browser. I think we all know that this type of place would've been impossible to find 15 years ago, but with the ever-growing competition in the tube space, there has never been a better time to enjoy XXX content online. I'm excited to be able to put Let's Jerk to the test today in order to determine if it's a place I can sign off on. So, without wasting any more time, let's check out the full LetsJerk experience and come to a conclusion on if it's any good!

My initial reaction to LetsJerk

After landing on the homepage here, I think it's safe to say that overall, the design and layout of this place is a little on the poor side. It feels like it was created quite a few years ago and while it does have a lot of functionality, it's hardly the modern aesthetic. This isn't a terrible thing per se, but I do believe that Let's Jerk at the very least should update their thumbnail sizing. These are some of the smallest previews I've ever come across and they should really be around 33% larger, if not a little more. Additionally, LetsJerk could expand into the dead space it has on the left and right hand sides of the homepage. Only around 50% of the screen real estate actually has anything going on: not great.

Preview panes at LetsJerk consist of the scene preview thumbnail, a like rating, title and view count. You've also got a HD indicator for videos that you can watch in 720p or 1080p, which based on the ones shown on the homepage is basically the entire LetsJerk collection. By default, content here is shown based on upload date, so the freshest flicks are right there for you to watch. Just below the search, you've got a few other sorting choices, including organization based on rating, view count and number of comments. One final point: the top right-hand corner of the site has a HD only toggle, so if you want to remove anything that's 480p or below, you can do so with relative ease. All in all, while the design is a little ugly, the homepage here is surprisingly good.

Trying out the LetsJerk Search

To put the LetsJerk search engine to the test, I typed in 'Riley Reid gangbang'. Sadly, I got absolutely zero results, whereas most tubes would be able to show me dozens of clips that are relevant to that query. I'm not too sure what's going on here, but what I do know is that it's massive disappointing for me. I feel like search engines on tubes should just function, so when this one gave me no results, I was pretty damn pissed. At least give me a few scenes that feature Riley Reid, or a couple of gangbang uploads! Whatever the problem is, it ought to be fixed. I suppose it's probably best for me to go ahead here now and check out the categories section at LetsJerk – let's get to it.

LetsJerk categories: what the deal is

If you're someone who likes a particular type of content, you'll likely want to use the button dropdown to navigate over to the categories section here. You'll find a bunch of genres that you can explore, including ones such as MILF, ebony, teen and POV. I did notice a major issue here though: the overall size of the database is incredibly small. For instance, POV only has 9 clips, whereas Asian is sitting in a meager 20 uploads. Suffice to say that if you're someone who likes to hunt for porn based on the number of scenes a place has to offer, LetsJerk is likely going to be a big disappointment for you. These guys have one of the smallest libraries I've come across, and it's not just on the low end either – this is rock bottom in terms of content counts. Sure, it might all be in HD, but that doesn't explain away why they have so few uploads for punters to enjoy.

The pornstar section at LetsJerk

If you prefer to look at content based on who's starring in it, you might want to click on the pornstar button. Here, you'll find the likes of Alexis Fawx, Sara Jay, Brandi Love and Cherie Deville. Overall, the layout and design of this area is incredibly lackluster. You're not able to sort by anything other than alphabetical order and most of the ladies don't even have an attached thumbnail. It just feels a little bit lazy and I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed. Put simply, it's best to just avoid the model database here: it's one of the worst I've come across. They don't even have basic functions like popularity sorting or race filtering, which I think is an absolutely massive mistake. You won't find too many tubes that lack these features, but Let's Jerk has really gone for a barebones approach that will piss off a lot of the folks at home. Why have they elected to do this? Heaven knows, but Fetish Dude wants to end things right here because of what he's seen.

A conclusion on LetsJerk

I come across good and bad tubes in my regular hunting sessions for free sex video databases and while Let's Jerk isn't terrible, there are lots of things here that need to be improved upon. I can't think of any particular reason why I'd suggest this place over dozens of others, so while I'm okay to say that it's not a complete waste of time, it's probably in your best interests to consider alternative destinations. I'm hoping that they improve over the coming months and maybe I'll revisit the place to upgrade, but for now, this is just an average hub that'll make you cum, but it won't be the best nut you've ever had. My advice: explore the rest of the reviews I have devoted to the best tube sites online.
